I'm Addicted to Seam Rippers

Let's just say I'm addicted to making seam rippers. Although none of us like to use them they are a necessary evil. As long as we have to have one it might as well make us smile. I just uploaded a whole new batch of rippers and it's a good one. There's a couple new things too that I think you will be excited about.
First, there is a seam ripper necklace! Always there when you need it. The really cool part about the necklace is the top of the ripper is held to the chain by a strong magnet. All you have to do is pull on the ripper and it will disconnect from the chain and when you are done just get it close and it will re-attach to the chain.
The second new thing is a seam ripper / scissor combo. Again, how have we all lived without these things. I believe the combo would travel well too. I have not tested it with TSA yet but might go through. The scissors are mini so can't do much harm.
On another note, here's a new finish. Finally got it quilted after sitting in a stack for a few months. This was my first pre-cut kit. Holy cow was it cool. With all the crazy pieces and all the colors it made it so easy to put together. I got the fabric and the kit from Laundry Basket Quilts. I added the top and bottom border to change it up a bit and so it's not square.

That brings me to another "issue" I have. For some reason I have an aversion to square quilts. Don't get me wrong, they are so beautiful and I have some of them but I MUCH prefer a rectangle. Squares are great for wall hangings and for king beds but other than that, I usually pass or make some changes so the finished quilt comes out a rectangle. I know, it's crazy and all my quilting friends tease me about it but just being real here. LOL
I'm slowly collecting Tilda solids and will be adding those to the web site as I get them in. The Tilda fabric is great to work with. So soft and the colors are out of this world.
That's all for today. Take a peek at all the new seam rippers under Hand Made items and hopefully you will see something you like.
Oooo, one more thing I forgot to share. I'm so excited. I took back my maiden name so now my name is once again Anne Wagner. This is a hassle but for me it's well worth it. I will probably go by both for quite some time.
Find your joy today, no matter what that looks like!
